ABOUT THE COMPANY
When the whole thing started in 1976, a hockey stick handle was wrapped with 100 feet of twine, and a metal weight acted as a tiny anchor.
This creative safety device was created by scuba enthusiast Dave Parker in his Torrance, California garage. Its purpose is to designate diver locations by bobbing on the water's surface.
Dave created the device, which he named the "Pelican Float," because he believed it could save lives. He was accurate. Dave was quickly working hard on creating his next product, a greater first-aid package for divers, as he was eager to realize his idea.
The cases were strong, long-lasting, and designed to safely preserve the items within from dust and water. Divers and other users loved the device so much that they threw out their first aid supplies and utilized the container to store other items.
